Amer Khalaf Al-Fahdawi

Amer Khalaf Allawi Al-Fahdawi is President of the Federation of Iraqi Chambers of Commerce and an established Iraqi business and institutional leader with extensive experience in commerce, private-sector development and economic representation.

His leadership experience includes serving as Chairman of the Board of the Anbar Chamber of Commerce and President of the Salahaddin Chamber of Commerce, alongside senior roles in the private sector. He has also participated in a range of Iraqi and regional business organisations and economic councils, contributing to dialogue on trade, investment and commercial cooperation.

Throughout his career, Al-Fahdawi has worked to strengthen the role of Iraq’s private sector, support entrepreneurship, encourage investment and expand relationships between Iraqi businesses and regional and international partners. His participation in business councils, professional organisations and economic forums reflects a sustained focus on institutional cooperation and the development of a more connected and competitive Iraqi economy.
